Planning and Preparation
Have A Special Day
Bridgetown and the Blackwood Valley region are well known for having a calendar of events and activities throughout the year. Some of these include, the Bridgetown Blues Festival, the Blackwood Marathon, Banquet on a Bridge, the Nannup Flower and Garden Festival, the Balingup Medieval Carnival and the Manjimup 15000 Motocross … to name but a few.
In keeping with this hive of activity, Little Hill Farm participates in many of these events whilst also hosting its own activities and open days throughout the year. They are an integral aspect of our farm and business as they enable interaction with the general public and community participation.
As well as these community events, we hold activities, learning experiences and open days on the farm throughout the year, offering a unique experience for locals, tourists and guests.
Currently, we provide
- Open Garden Days,
- Farm gate produce sales
- Garden learning activities, and
- Food appreciation pursuits
- Cooking Classes
But once our accommodation studios are constructed and our farmhouse renovations are completed (in early 2017) we shall also provide
- Corporate getaways
- Team building activities
- Photography workshops
- Bird watching tours and
- Recreational activities and workshops
Other than Open Garden Days and Farm gate produce sales, many of our events and activities are strictly by advanced booking, as places are generally limited. If interested in attending an event or wishing to propose an event, please feel free to contact us.
jam making workshops
We generally cater for small groups wishing to get together in a tranquil, scenic setting to reflect, learn or celebrate.
