- ceiling fan,
- 55” LED television and DVD player,
- a 4-burner gas cook top,
- toasted sandwich maker and
- 120 l refrigerator.
- bed linen,
- pillows and pillowcases,
- iron and ironing board,
- hair dryer,
- general toiletry and cleaning items and
- pots, pans, cooking utensils and crockery
The Lee Steere Studio is named after – Sir James George Lee Steere – the first Speaker of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly, who was a prominent pastoralist in the Blackwood Valley Region in the second half of the 1800’s. This is the most easterly studio in our set of four studios and has a sweeping veranda on two sides for sitting and admiring the scenery or watching the goings on in the valley be it the native fauna or the locals going about their daily activities.
The Hester Studio is named after one of the founding fathers’ of Bridgetown – Godfrey Hester and his numerous descendants that remain in the region. The Hester Studio is the largest by area of our four studios as it also functions as our disability compliant studio. Although all our studios can be set-up for those persons requiring Twin Share Accommodation, this is the studio we semi-permanently keep in Twin Share Set-Up as the extra room is more suited to those needing extra space.
The Forrest Studio is named after the pioneering Forrest Family of whom Sir John Forrest, the First Premier of Western Australia was a member. Both Sir John’s father William Forrest Snr and his brother William Forrest Jnr have connection to the town of Bridgetown and the Blackwwod Valley Region. The Forrest studio is a central studio and therefore has a cosy, quiet aspect for those wanting to truly – rest, relax and enjoy their time at Little Hill Farm.
The Blechynden Studio is named after the other founding father of Bridgetown – John Blechynden and his family. It is the most Westerly of our four studios and similar to the Lee Steere Studio has a veranda on two sides for greater outdoor sitting and enjoying the landscape and the magnificent vistas of the farm and the rolling hills of the Blackwood River Valley both below and across from Little Hill Farm.
